NSSNA's Board of Directors is made up of nursing students from nursing schools throughout Nebraska. Elections are held at the annual convention in February. Term of office for all positions is one year.

Welcome to the Nebraska State Student Nurse's Association
NSNA stands for National Student Nurses Association, which is a pre-professional association for nursing students with about 37,000 members divided by state. Participating in NSNA prepares you for involvement in professional associations when you graduate, as well as for participation in shared governance organizations in the workplace. It is comprised of students who are preparing for their RN Licensure. Nebraska State Student Nurse's Association provides educational opportunities for student nurses through leadership, education, scholarship, legislature, and career networking.
Ourpurpose
To assume responsibility for contributing to nursing education in order to provide for the highest quality of healthcare.
To provide programs representative of fundamental and current professional interests and concerns.
To aid in the development of the whole person, his/her professional role, and his/her responsibility for the health care of people in all walks of life.
